Calling 999

When to call 999

You should always call 999 if it is a life threatening emergency or if someone is seriously ill or injured and their life may be at risk.

When you call us

When you call us you will be asked information about the patient’s circumstances, and there are also some things you can do while help is on its way.

Who will treat you

We have a range of different staff and volunteers who will come and treat you depending on the circumstances of your call.

On behalf of my family I would like to thank the crew who came to treat my daughter who took ill in March this year. Thanks to the considerable commitment by all the staff involved and the fact that they did not give up on her she is now leading a full life.
