Some examples of medical emergencies include:
- chest pain;
- breathing difficulty;
- unconsciousness;
- severe loss of blood;
- severe burns or scalds;
- fitting or concussion;
- drowning;
- severe allergic reactions;
- choking;
- a child with sudden unexpected symptoms.
