Life saving partnership

 Friday 16 March 2012

As part of a unique partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service, Scotmid has taken delivery of 30 public access defibrillators to help save the lives of people experiencing cardiac arrest.

From Avoch to Dumfries, Edinburgh to Ayr, the defibrillators will be placed in 30 Scotmid and Semichem stores where trained staff can go to the help of customers or other shoppers in the area.

The defibrillator roll out to stores begins at the end of this month.
