Fuel Strikes

 Friday 30 March 2012

While negotiations continue in relation to potential industrial action, the Scottish Ambulance Service continues to provide services to patients. The National Emergency Plan for Fuel includes provision for a temporary logo scheme allowing essential health care vehicles to draw fuel at specifically designated fuel stations and also an Emergency Services Scheme to prioritise the supply of fuel to emergency service vehicles.

Members of the public can help ensure that we maintain our ability to respond to patients by giving priority to Scottish Ambulance Service vehicles at fuel stations.
