Airbus H145 helicopter and King Air 200c

The Air Ambulance fleet comprises two helicopters and two fixed wing planes, all of which have been purpose built to our specifications. We also greatly assisted by Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) who currently provide one additional helicopter, with fundraising underway for a second aircraft.

Two Airbus H145 helicopters are based in Glasgow and Inverness. They respond to emergency calls and requests from remote, rural or island clinicians to provide medical care and transport to mainland health care facilities. Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance operate an EC135-t2i helicopter, which is based at Perth Airport, which responds to trauma incidents and medical emergencies across Scotland.

Two King Air 200c planes are based in Aberdeen and Glasgow and in the main, they respond to medical requests to transfer patients between hospitals.
