A Call Taker at an Ambulance Control Centre

If you have a medical need or have limited mobility you can request transport to and from your healthcare appointment by phoning:

0300 123 1236

(Charged at local rates from landlines and mobiles)

If you use British Sign Language you can now access the booking line through contactScotland. Find out more on the ContactScotland BSL website.

You can also use the text talk number (18001 0300 123 1236)

You can also ask your GP or carer to make the phone call on your behalf.

What will I be asked?

When should I request patient transport?

Who can I travel with?

How do I appeal a decision?
