A crew standing next to the new helicopter

The new H145 Scottish Ambulance Service air ambulance helicopter will be operating in the Shetland Islands again this week on Wednesday 19 August as part of its pre–operational testing and training programme.

The two new H145 helicopters have been conducting these operations in recent weeks across Scotland before the new aircraft come into service to replace the current EC135 helicopters.

Anyone interested in seeing the helicopter can come along to any of the sites mentioned below.
