Support function roles

Vital support services are provided throughout the Service, at National Headquarters or within the Divisions. Vacancies may arise for professional dedicated staff in the following areas: Fleet, Personnel, Training, Administration, Estates, Procurement, IT, Finance and Communications.

The levels of education and experience will vary depending on the role you are interested in applying for. Salaries will also vary according to the band of the post.

Support services play a critical role in supporting our frontline operational staff. In any of these areas you will be helping to deliver the highest quality of patient care across Scotland.

To apply, you will need to fill in the application form in the pack, which also contains other documents providing more information about the role.

When filling out your application, you must ensure you clearly evidence how you meet the requirements for the role.

If you are shortlisted for a vacancy you will be invited to attend an interview. A letter confirming these details will be sent out prior to the interview advising of all the relevant details.
