We are always looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as Ambulance Technicians. To become an Ambulance Technician you will need to study for the Certificate of Higher Education in Ambulance Studies at the Scottish Ambulance Academy.
Entry Criteria
We welcome applications to the Academy at any time. However, we only operate intakes to our Academy at certain dates throughout the year; therefore if you are successful, you will be offered a place on the next available Academy Programme – in some cases, this could be up to a year ahead.
The September intake is now full. Candidates who have been successful for this intake will be contacted shortly. If you have uploaded an application form between December 2012 - 31 May 2013, you will be considered for the December 2013 intake.
Application process
- You will need to answer some online questions to see if you meet our initial requirements
- If successful you will be directed to a page to register with us
- Once you have registered you will be emailed an application form and details about how you can upload the completed form onto our website
- Successful applicants will be asked to attend an assessment day which will include a driving and a fitness assessment
What happens if I am successful?
