Member - Scottish Ambulance Service Board
The Scottish Ambulance Service is looking for two new members to join its Board - one to take up post in November 2015 and the other in December 2015. As a non-executive member of the Board, you will be expected to play a central role in supporting the provision of emergency pre-hospital care and other non-emergency patient transport services. These roles are as challenging as they are rewarding – and you will be offered the training you’ll need to make a strong contribution. You must be able to demonstrate a number of skills, including the:
- ability to communicate effectively; and
- potential to contribute effectively to the Board.
You do not need to be an expert in healthcare or have previous experience of being on a Board. We are looking for people who have the capacity and commitment to grow into the role, to develop their skills and to learn new skills they may require.
