SAS joins Fire Service at Emergency Services Day
Great to join our colleagues at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at Ayr Fire Station for a #999EmergencyDay
11 children spent the day learning about the #fire and #ambulance services
Alongside Fire Service staff, James Young (Ayr Paramedic) brought an ambulance for a demonstration.
James: "This was an excellent opportunity for the children to learn all about the work of the emergency services and the importance of teamworking. All the children took part enthusiastically and it was clear that they had a most enjoyable day."

Scottish Ambulance Service now ACE accredited
Following a meeting with the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch on June 29, we are delighted to announce that our ACCs achieved Accredited Centre of Excellence (ACE) accreditation for the standard of its 999-call handling and supporting processes.
