“We’re determined that we can provide patients across the region with the best care possible - these new posts will further enhance our local resilience, complementing wider investment in the Moray area.”

The Scottish AmbulanceService have been working closely with local staff and partners across the region to develop the increase in staffing capacity. Health Secretary Shona Robison, said:

“I’m pleased that a sustainable solution has been found to provide patients in the Elgin and Moray area with the best – and safest – service possible. “This will have a real impact on the resilience of the ambulance service in Grampian and is another example of a robust local service being provided by partners across the region.”
