Making a Freedom of Information Request

All the information that Scottish Ambulance service regularly publishes is included in our guide to information (Hyperlink to document coming soon)

Under Freedom of Information not all information will be released. Some information you request may be exempt from release

These exemptions are listed in the Act and include:

Personal information

Requests for your personal information/health records would be covered under the Data Protection Act and can be made here

Information requested identifying another person

Information already published

If information is already published, we do not have to provide it to you. In our response to you we will tell you where you can find what you are looking for

Information not held

Sometimes we just don’t have what you are looking for. We will let you know that and if we can give advice on where you may find the information.

If some or all of the information you request is exempt this will be explained when we respond to your request.
