Wife thanks staff for saving her husband's life on Christmas Eve

The wife of a man who had a cardiac arrest on Christmas Eve has sent a heartfelt thanks to Derek Mitchell, Paramedic, and Rebecca McDonald, Technician, both based at Dundee, for saving her husband’s life 

Carol said her husband Alan was on his way to work when he started feeling unwell. He had a heart attack which led to a cardiac arrest.

She said: “My family and I would like to thank the paramedics that saved Alan's life on Xmas eve.

"These two responders we owe our lives to. We wish for them to be part of our extended family.

“Again, I am so grateful for what you did for my beloved husband, my soulmate of almost 32 years. Thank you what a wonderful job."
