- Response
Please see attached sheet which has information over two tabs.
The first tab details the Inter-Hospital transfers (IHT) where an ‘Obstetric Emergency’ was noted. Please note that reasons for IHT’s from Dunbar Hospital or any IHT’s to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Ninewells Hospital, QUEH or Edinburgh Royal Infirmary are not recorded and therefore we have no information on IHT where Pregnancy was indicated. It is for this reason; we have applied the exemption Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 as information not held
Tab 2 details the number of conveyances from KW1, KW2, KW3, KW5, KW6, KW7, KW11 KW12, KW13, KW14 to Raigmore Hospital, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Ninewells, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for the years requested.
Please note – where there are no results given, this means there were no incidents recorded.
For the given data, if the figures are shown as, five or less than five, this figure was suppressed. The reason given for this is that the Scottish Ambulance Service has a duty, under the Data Protection Act to avoid directly or indirectly revealing any personal details. It is therefore widely accepted that provision of statistics on small numbers, five or less are statistically suppressed upon disclosure.
