I am writing to request information in regards to an ambulance that was contacted to attend 42 Upper Constitution Street, Dundee, DD3 6JW at some point this year or the end of last year. I have been informed by the council that parking restrictions are to be put in place all the way up the street due to an ambulance being unable to attend this address, resulting in the patient having to be escorted by car to a neighbouring street. The only reason I am acquiring this information is because I will have to sell my property due to my elderly grandmother having no access if parking restrictions are approved.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has not been consulted by Dundee City Council on any parking restrictions on Upper Constitution Street, Dundee.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has also not shared any access information with Dundee City Council that would result in restrictions being put in place.
It is for these reasons we have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 as information not held about access or parking restrictions on the street requested.
In relation to any incidents on Upper Constitution Street, Dundee or any access issues faced by the Scottish Ambulance Service staff, we have applied section 38 1(b) of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 as personal information.
