I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding pay bill. Please can you complete the below question:
1. What was the organisations total pay bill for all staff, for financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25?

The Scottish Ambulance Service publishes their annual report and accounts on their website; it is for this reason we have applied section 25 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002, as information available from an accessible source.

The Annual Report and Accounts for 2024/25 has been exempt under section 40 of the Freedom of information Scotland Act 2002, Audit Functions. This exemption applies if its disclosure under this Act would, or would likely to, prejudice substantially the exercise of the Scottish Ambulance Services functions in relation to the audit of the accounts. The 2024/25 report is due for publication in December 2025
