Please provide the name, job title, email address, and phone number of the person(s) responsible for procurement or contracts for vehicle fleet maintenance and / or vehicle glass replacement?  

Please can you advise the number of cars, LCV's and HGV's on your fleet?  

Please also provide the annual volume of glass items that you; replace or repair, and also the number of ADAS recalibrations that you undertake each year?  

Please provide the £ value that you spent on vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration over the past 12 months? Please can you advise when you will be looking to go to tender for vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration services?

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA states: information which relates to a living individual other than the applicant for the information will be exempt where the disclosure of the information the rights of an individual under the Data Protection Act 2018, UKGDPR. I have applied section 25 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2024 as this information is readily available on the Scottish Ambulance Service’s website under - Frequently Asked Questions 

 

Please also provide the annual volume of glass items that you; replace or repair, and also the number of ADAS recalibrations that you undertake each year? 

The Scottish Ambulance Service does not have a measurement of the volume of glass that we repair or replace.  We also do not hold information in a way that allows us to report the number of ADAS recalibrations in a readily available format. it is for this reason we have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 as information not held. 

 

Please provide the £ value that you spent on vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration over the past 12 months? 

In the financial year of 2023/2024 the total spend was £86,110.  Information on the spend for the last financial year is currently going through an audit process and will be available in December 2025. 

 

Please can you advise when you will be looking to go to tender for vehicle glass replacement, repair and recalibration services? 

The Scottish Ambulance Service currently does not have a time for when they would put this contract to tender; we intend to continue to make use of a national contract and framework.
