Information required: I have been looking at the unscheduled care operational statistics available at: https://www.scottishambulance.com/publications/unscheduled-care-operational-statistics/ and in particular at the response time data by health board. I would like to obtain the data at a finer level of detail for the site of the incident (eg postcode area) so as to be able to see the variations in response time within a health board such as Lothian. Ideally I would like, for each incident: the date, health board, postcode area, and response time as a csv file covering a whole year.

Please see attached sheet detailing the unscheduled care statistics broken down by postcode and day for the last 12 months (01/09/2024 - 31/08/2025)
Important Information to Consider
- Emergency call types only have been included.
- Only attended incidents have been included.
- Postcode areas with <5 incidents have been excluded from this report. The Scottish Ambulance Service has a duty of care to avoid directly or indirectly revealing incidents details. Where the numbers are too few to report on, these incidents have been excluded to avoid them becoming identifiable.
Please note: the response times show total time and do not factor in possible upgrading or downgrading that may occur depending on the patient condition. For example, a call may start out as a yellow call, subsequently be upgraded to a purple call some time later, but only the total time from the first call received is shown. The starting point is always set for the colour category first determined, not the final colour category assigned. Where delays occur, clinical advisors maintain contact with the patient, checking their condition on an ongoing basis, and upgrading when appropriate.
