- The number of incidents recorded where ambulances operated by your trust were damaged due to vandalism for each of the past six calendar years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), and for 2025 to date.
- Where possible, please also provide the associated cost of repairs for these incidents for the same period. If the full data set is not available for 2025, please provide the figures you hold to date.

- There are 16 recorded incidents of damage to a Scottish Ambulance Service vehicle caused by vandalism from 01/01/2019 – 23/09/2025. Breaking this information down by year will result in the numbers being too few to report on.
- I have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 to the total cost associated with the repairs of the vehicles. Not all incidents have costs associated with them because repairs may have been carried out ‘in-house’ as part of routine servicing.
The total cost paid from insurance claims for vehicles damaged by vandalism from 01/01/2019 – 23/09/2025 is £8142.08.
