I wish to make a Freedom of Information Request for the dates & times there's been no Caithness based ambulance available in Caithness in 2021, 2021, 2023, 2024 & 2025 to present date.

The Scottish Ambulance Service is applying section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002, as information not held.
The Scottish Ambulance Service operates as a national service, and ambulance vehicles are routinely deployed beyond their designated base locations in response to operational demand. We do not record or monitor vehicle movements to a level of granularity that would allow us to determine when a specific ambulance is operating out with its base area. Consequently, we are unable to produce a definitive list of dates and times when a Caithness-based ambulance was unavailable within Caithness.
In circumstances where the locally based ambulance is deployed elsewhere, the nearest available resource is dispatched to respond to emergency calls. This may include units from neighbouring areas or, where clinically appropriate, the use of air ambulance services.
