Information Requested
  • A list of employed roles within your organisation which are currently paid a Recruitment and Retention Premia;
  • The department in which that role works (eg. Paramedic Emergency Service)
  • The Agenda for Change pay band for each of the roles which are currently paid a Recruitment and Retention Premia; • The number of posts within that role which currently receive the Recruitment and Retention Premia, alongside the breakdown of male and female staff in those roles;
  • The date which the recruitment and retention premia were applied to each of those roles and;
  • The value of the recruitment and retention premia applied to each of those roles, in terms of percentage of normal salary

  • A list of employed roles within your organisation which are currently paid a Recruitment and Retention Premia; - Maintenance Chargehand/Supervisor, Maintenance Craftsperson, Fleet Maintenance Manager, Fleet Services Support Engineer.

 

  • The department in which that role works (eg. Paramedic Emergency Service) - Fleet Services.

 

  • The Agenda for Change pay band for each of the roles which are currently paid a Recruitment and Retention Premia; - Pay Band 5 and Band 6

 

  • The number of posts within that role which currently receive the Recruitment and Retention Premia, alongside the breakdown of male and female staff in those roles; - Currently being paid to 11 employees all of which are male

 

  • The date which the recruitment and retention premia were applied to each of those roles and; - We can confirm that recruitment and retention premia were applied to relevant roles on two separate dates: one in mid-2013 and another in late 2022. However, we are unable to provide a breakdown of which roles or locations correspond to each date. Doing so could risk making the information identifiable, particularly when combined with other data. In line with our responsibilities under data protection legislation, we must ensure that no information is disclosed in a way that could lead to the identification of individuals.

 

  • The value of the recruitment and retention premia applied to each of those roles, in terms of percentage of normal salary - This is not paid as a percentage of their salary it’s a flat rate currently £4866.60 per year.
