Response

Please see the attached sheet detailing the completed jobs/missions for both ScotSTAR Neonatal Teams and ScotSTAR Paediatric teams.  These figures have been broken down by Area, Consultant Led missions, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) or Registrar led missions, nurse led missions and missions where they have not recorded a lead.

Important Information to Consider

The figures provided for both the day shift and night shift counts reflect activity from the start of the mission. Due to the nature of operations, it is possible that day shift missions may extend into the night shift period, and vice versa. As such, there may be some overlap in mission completion times between shifts.

Please note that while the Neonatal team primarily handles neonatal transfers, they occasionally support Paediatric transfers as well. Conversely, the Paediatric team may occasionally assist with neonatal transfers. These cross-team transfers are limited to neonatal patients only and do not include older children.
