- Response
While the Scottish Ambulance Service does hold information relating to mental health-related calls, we do not record data at a sufficiently granular level to identify incidents specifically involving Acute Behavioural Disturbance ABD, Excited Delerium (ExD), or equivalent terminology. These presentations may be captured under broader mental health categories or other incident types depending on the clinical details recorded at the time.
Due to this limitation, we are also unable to provide information on whether intramuscular (IM) sedation was administered in such cases, or the specific medications used.
In accordance with section 17 of FOISA, I must advise that the Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold the information you have requested.
