I am looking for information regarding pest control.
- How many times have pest control services been called out by your health board for each of the financial years from 2019/20 to 2025/26 (most recent).
- Please provide a breakdown by i) reason for call out (e.g., vermin, wasp nest, rodent, etc.) ii) location of pest in hospital and outcome (e.g. pest removed successfully). iii) cost of call out
- How much money was spent on pest control for these call outs for each financial year from 2019/20 to 2025/26 (most recent).
- How many times have pest control services been called out by your health board for each of the financial years from 2019/20 to 2025/26 (most recent).

The Scottish Ambulance Service has applied section 25 to the information requested in this FOI as this information is available of the Scottish Ambulance Service website - FOI 25-434 Pest Control Usage
It is important to note that the information requested is not held in a format that enables us to report on the specific location of pests on site or the outcomes of any related actions.
Additionally, there was a change in the system that previously held the information for the period 2019/2020. As a result, we do not retain this data and are unable to provide it. In accordance with Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, we confirm that this information is not held.
Please also note that information for the financial year 2025/2026 has not yet been collated. This will be available towards the end of the financial year.
