Information Requested

The only data I am missing to put together costing is the percentage of outpatient CT scans with an IV40-51 postcode that required an ambulance transfer for an outpatient CT Scan during 2024. If this is not possible would you please be able to provide the percentage of patients which require Ambulance transport for outpatient CT scans either within NHS Highland or Nationally.

Response

The Scottish Ambulance Service holds data on inter-hospital transfers; however, this is not detailed enough to identify whether transfers were for outpatient CT scans or the wards involved. It is for this reason we have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, I must advise that the Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold this information.
