Im wanting to find out if there is any way a fully qualified Emergency Medical Technician can transfer from my current trust and secure a job within the Edinburgh area.

Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) can advise that there is no direct or automatic transfer pathway for Emergency Medical Technicians transferring between UK ambulance services or “trusts”. Individuals wishing to work for SAS, including within the Edinburgh area, must apply for advertised vacancies through the standard recruitment process and meet the role’s eligibility and selection requirements.
