any protocol(s) in place at the University Hospital Wishaw at the relevant time regarding the transfer of children to PICU - any data showing what were the actual PICU transfer times, at least during the 12 months preceding and 12 months postdating 30 August 2022, and to where those children were transferred (within the hospital, to Glasgow, to elsewhere etc).

The Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold information identifying specific hospital wards involved in paediatric transfers. Our systems record ambulance tasking, journey and receiving hospital details only.
Identifying ward‑level locations would require the interpretation of external hospital records and the application of complex skill and judgement, amounting to the creation of new information rather than the provision of information held. The Scottish Ambulance Service is not required to create new information in order to respond to a request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
It is for this reason we have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002, as information not held.
