- Information Requested
I would like details on the number of emergency responses that have been affected/delayed by the implementation of the spaces for people bollards and segregated cycle lanes in Edinburgh over the last 5yrs and the total number of call outs! If the data exists the average response time pre covid and post covid.
- Response
The Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold information that identifies or records ambulance delays caused specifically by Spaces for People bollards or segregated cycle lanes.
While the Service does record ambulance response times and call‑out activity, these records do not capture the underlying cause of any delay at a level of detail that would allow delays to be identified or categorised by specific road infrastructure measures, including temporary or permanent traffic management schemes.
In line with section 17(1) of FOISA, the requested information is not held.
