I would like to request the Scottish Ambulance Service’s usage data for the last completed financial year for the
following frameworks: NP178/23 NP114/23 NP154/24 For each of these frameworks, please provide:
1. The total spend during the last financial year.
2. A breakdown of usage or call-off activity, including any available metrics such as number of orders, volumes,
services used, or other usage indicators held by the Service.
3. Any internal or external identifiers or titles associated with these frameworks, if different from the codes listed
above.- Response
The Scottish Ambulance Service can confirm we have placed orders with six suppliers across the three frameworks during the period requested.
The table below summarises the Scottish Ambulance Service’s usage for the last complete financial year. This includes the number of purchase orders and the aggregated value per supplier.

Any further breakdown of item level detail including, but not limited to, product codes, descriptors and quantities cannot be disclosed. Providing this data would allow calculations of contract prices agreed between NHS National Procurement and the suppliers. Accordingly, SAS are applying section 33(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (commercial interests) to withhold itemised order details where disclosure would reveal contract unit prices.
