Please can you provide the following information. How many members of staff have attended the Sexual Safety workshops since Feb 2025 until the present day? What is the breakdown per division? What is the breakdown across the sexes? 

Response

As at 3rd February 2026, a total of 211 members of staff had attended Sexual Safety workshops delivered by the Scottish Ambulance Service since February 2025. 

The regional breakdown of recorded attendance is as follows: 

  • Corporate Services – 32 
  • East Region – 63 
  • National Operations – 40 
  • West Region – 74 
  • North Region – 2* 

*Please note caution with this figure - The attendance figure for the North Region may be incomplete due to an administrative issue affecting the recording of attendees within the Turas system. As a result, this figure should be treated with caution. 

In relation to your request for a breakdown by sex, the Scottish Ambulance Service does not have a dataset to report on this information for Sexual Safety workshop attendance. This information is therefore exempt from disclosure under section 17(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, as it is not held.
