Please see the attached sheet detailing the information requested. This information contains total counts relating to emergency calls and attended incidents only between 01/01/2023 - 31/12/2025 for Purple, Red. Amber, Yellow and Green categorised calls only.
The Scottish Ambulance Service does not have a definitive flag for Teal calls, as Teal is not an official call colour recognised by the Scottish Government. As such, it is not possible to reliably identify Teal calls for the reporting purposes of this request.
For all FOI responses where the number is between 0 and 5, our policy is that we do not provide an exact figure as the numbers are so small that disclosure could risk identifying individuals. In such circumstances, we instead say ‘<5’.
Please note caution when interpreting this data
For the information on Paramedic Response Units, Technician Response Unit and 3RU Response Unit classifications are derived using the ‘Resource Type Shown at Allocation’ variable. This variable is only extracted once per day, as a result, if a resource changes type during the day, this may not be fully reflected in the data.
