would like to have a copy of the amount of times all defibrillator machines registered in the g71 circuit have been used. No personal information pertaining to the people using them just the amount of times each individual defibrillator has been physically used. I'd be interested to see how many times the defibrillator at the address listed below has been used since installation? 432 Old Edinburgh Rd, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 6PJ

The Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold the information you have requested.
Public access defibrillators are registered and managed via The Circuit, the national defibrillator network operated by the British Heart Foundation. These devices are owned and overseen by local defibrillator guardians, who register devices directly with The Circuit and enter into data‑sharing arrangements with that organisation.
The Scottish Ambulance Service’s access to The Circuit is limited to viewing the location and availability of public access defibrillators for the purposes of emergency response. The Service does not hold recorded information on how often individual public access defibrillators have been physically collected or used, nor can it identify usage by individual registered devices.
In addition, the fact that a public access defibrillator is signposted on The Circuit does not necessarily mean that it was collected or used during an incident.
Accordingly, and in line with section 17(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, the Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold the information requested. You may therefore wish to direct your enquiry to The Circuit or the British Heart Foundation, who are responsible for the management of the network and may hold more complete information reported by defibrillator guardians.
