I would be grateful if you could provide the following information regarding the current Scottish Ambulance Service workforce:
- The total number of employees currently employed by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
- A breakdown of employees by sex (male, female, and any other categories recorded).
- A breakdown of employees by age band, for example: Under 25 25–34 35–44 45–54 55–64 65 and over
- If available, a combined breakdown showing employee sex and age band (e.g. males aged 35–44, females aged 45–54, etc.).
- If available, the same information broken down by staff group (e.g. Ambulance Care Assistant, Technician, Paramedic, Team Leader, Manager, Control Room staff, etc.).

For the given data, you will see that some of the figures are shown as, five or less than five, please note that this figure has been suppressed because the statistical value is less than five but greater than zero. It is therefore widely understood that provision of statistics on small numbers, five or less are statistically suppressed upon disclosure.
