This is an information request relating to Pride month 2026
Please include the following information:
- Whether any events have been organised for Pride month. If so please provide the date, start and end time, and title/topic of the event
- Whether any LGBT themed merchandise has been purchased for Pride month. i.e. since the beginning of the 2026/27 financial year. If so please provide me with information on what has been purchased and the cost
- Whether the organisation has sponsored any Pride events. If so which events and please provide details of the nature of the sponsorship (particularly the financial value)

Q1 – The Scottish Ambulance Service has not organised any Pride events specifically for Pride Month (June 2026).
The Service's LGBT+ staff network, Proud@SAS, coordinated and promoted participation in a number of external Pride events taking place across Scotland during 2026. Participation and promotion of these events was undertaken by network members on a voluntary basis and in their own time. The events themselves were organised by the respective Pride organisations and not by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Q2 – No LGBT-themed merchandise was purchased by the Scottish Ambulance Service specifically for Pride Month during the 2026/27 financial year.
Any Pride materials used by the Proud@SAS staff network, including banners, flags and other promotional items, were not purchased by the Scottish Ambulance Service. These items were funded through charitable donations and personal contributions made by network members.
Q3 – The Scottish Ambulance Service has not sponsored any Pride events during the period specified. Accordingly, there is no sponsorship expenditure or financial value to disclose.
