Since the 2024 financial year how many times have you used management consultants? 

Response

The Scottish Ambulance Service has identified four occasions during the 2024/25 financial year where a management consultancy firm was engaged. 

The Service does not maintain a financial category that allows management consultancy expenditure to be routinely reported. The information for 2024/25 was identified through a completed financial review of that year. 

 

The corresponding analysis has not yet been completed for the 2025/26 financial year, and the Service does not currently hold a recorded figure showing the number of occasions management consultants have been used during that period. It is for this reason I have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002, as information not held for the 2025/2026 year.
