- Response
The Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold a reportable dataset identifying occasions where a Business Continuity Incident, Critical Incident or Major Incident was declared.
To provide the information requested, the Service would be required to manually review records held across the period 2019 to 2026 to determine whether any such declarations had occurred, together with the reasons, dates and locations associated with them. This information is not recorded in a way that can be readily searched or extracted.
The process would require the application of professional judgement to interpret the records reviewed and would result in the creation of new information rather than the retrieval of recorded information already held.
It is for this reason I have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002, as information not held.
