To ask on how many occasions the Scottish Ambulance Service has been called to incidents linked to patients taking weight-loss jabs or medication. Could this request cover the last three years for which you have the data, be broken down by year, and if possible provide a rough geographical breakdown.

The Scottish Ambulance Service records and responds to incidents based on a patient's clinical presentation and does not categorise incidents as being related to weight-loss medications or injections.
While details of medications may be recorded within free-text fields of the patient report form, there is no reportable field that would allow the Service to identify or count incidents linked to weight-loss medications.
To answer this request, the Service would need to manually review a large number of clinical records over the three-year period and apply clinical skill and judgement to determine whether a patient's use of a weight-loss medication was relevant to the incident attended. This information is not recorded in a format that can be readily extracted or reported.
It is for these reasons I have applied section 17(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002; the Scottish Ambulance Service does not hold the information requested in a recorded format.
