Neonatal transfers to Northern Ireland from 2016-2026

The Scottish Ambulance Service has identified fewer than five (<5) neonatal transfers to Northern Ireland during the period 2016 to 2026.
The exact figure has been withheld under section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (personal information), as disclosure of the precise number could increase the risk of identifying individual patients due to the very small numbers involved and the highly specialised nature of these transfers.
In line with our statistical disclosure control approach, figures that are greater than zero but fewer than five are therefore reported as <5.
