Information Requested

Under the terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland ) Act 2002, I am writing to request an update regarding the nationwide tracking, compliance, and financial allocation data held by the Scottish Government concerning the Delivery Framework for Miscarriage Care in Scotland. Please provide the following information:

1.      From the standardized monitoring framework documents and action plan templates submitted to the Scottish Government by the 14 regional NHS Boards, please provide:

a.      The exact nationwide percentage or breakdown of the 34 deliverables currently marked as ‘Fully Completed’, ‘In Progress’, or ‘Not Started’ across Scotland.

b.      A summary table or spreadsheet showing the completion/in-progress status of each individual standard (across Tiers 1,2, and 3) mapped against all 14 NHS Boards.

c.      For any Tier 1 or Tier 2 standards not yet universally completed across all 14 boards, please provide the recorded reasons for the delay and the adjusted forecasted dates for full nationwide compliance.

2.      Regarding the £1.5 million allocated nationally to support NHS Boards with this rollout:

a.      A breakdown of the exact financial allocations distributed to each of the 14 regional NHS Boards.

b.      Any central audit data/expense logs held by the government that detail how these funds were utilized by the boards. Specifically, identifying the proportions spent on structural hospital upgrades (e.g., dedicated units) versus general midwifery staffing or clinical backfill.

3.      Regarding nationwide physical space and facility audits:

a.      The total number and names of hospitals across Scotland that have been logged by the government as having fully functional, operational private rooms or dedicated early pregnancy spaces for patients who are experiencing loss that are separate from active labour and/or maternity wards.

b.      The total number and names of hospitals that are currently logged as non-compliant or still undergoing structural adaptations to meet this specific space mandate.
