I am looking for information regarding the use of the private sector in patient transport by the Scottish Ambulance Service. As such, can I request the following for the last five financial years (2018/19, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23):
1. The number of tenders/contracts awarded to private providers for the delivery of patient transport?
2. The name of each private provider.
3. The length of each tender/contract and the total cost? 4. A description of the service provided for each tender/description?- Response

NHS Scotland Health Board contracted taxi service providers used for the transportation of patients as follows; The service for the majority (as noted) only commenced in earnest this calendar year.
These are suppliers that have passed due diligence via a formal public sector procurement route and are compliant with all appropriate security and indemnity insurance requirements.- Response Documents
