  1. Would you be able to tell me how many qualified paramedics you have working for your service.

 

  1. And how many of those qualified paramedics are trained to use prehospital ultrasound.

 

  1. Any other information that you have around the use of prehospital ultrasound such as cost to buy and train staff would also be very much appreciated.

  1. 11 clinical staff members are trained to use prehospital ultrasound.

 

  1. The ultrasound device currently used, Phillips GE V-scan.

 

Recent change in Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) Ultrasound curriculum should lead to greater accessibility of training at a local level. The fee for training has not been confirmed but is estimated to be between £0 - £150.
